Oshodi Comprehensive High School was established on 7th September, 1981 with the pioneer Principal Mrs. S.A AJAO with 200 students, 20 Teaching and 6 Non –Teaching Staffs. Form 2 and 3 students were brought from Ikeja Grammar School on 5th October 1981. Form 2 students were 126 in number while form 3 students were 209 and they were placed in 5 arms. Mr. S.A. Ajulo assumed office as the second Principal on 10th September, 1984. The first West Africa School Certificate Examination was written in the school in the year 1984 and 1985 respectively. The pioneer students who came in as form 1, sat for their West Africa School Certificate Examination in June 1986. After the meritorious retirement of our indefatigable Principal Mr S.A Ajulo, Mrs. C.I. Okodugha took over as Principal on 20th December, 1992. She added her wealth of experience towards the greater development of the school. At the point of her exit from the school, Mrs. D.N Adebayo reported to the school to take charge as the new Principal for the Senior School, while Mrs. S.O. Owulade also reported as the Junior School Principal, this was immediate as the school was separated on a clear path to Senior and Junior School on 6th January, 2003. After Mrs. Adebayo’s retirement from active service, Mrs. C.O. Omololu became the Principal on the 14th October, 2008 and served meritoriously till she retired from active service on the 8th August, 2012. As she left and being the tradition, another person has to take charge pending the deployment of a new principal. Her Vice Principal Administration, in person of Mrs. O.A. Akoroda served as the Acting Principal till 21st February, 2013. Her exit to another school for a greater responsibility ushered in the immediate past Principal Mrs. A.O. Sonola who was deployed to the school on 22nd February, 2013. On the exit of Mrs. A.O. Sonola on 1st September 2019, Mr. Akinlosotu, the incumbent Principal of the School, was deployed on 31st August and is currently still serving as the senior school principal.

The journey still continuous...
