The spirit of giving and community upliftment was alive today as the Class of 1996 of Oshodi Comprehensive High School (OCHS) took a remarkable step in supporting the next generation. As part of their Give Back Project, they generously sponsored the NECO examination fees for 32 deserving students, ensuring these young scholars have the opportunity to complete their secondary education without financial barriers.

The impact of this initiative was truly profound. The school authorities, parents, and students expressed immense gratitude for this act of kindness, acknowledging the life-changing opportunity it presents. Education remains a powerful tool for transformation, and this noble gesture by the Class of ’96 has set a shining example of how alumni can contribute to the success of their alma mater.

A Call to Action for Other Alumni Sets

The National Executive Council (Exco) and the Board of Trustees (BOT) were delighted to be part of this laudable event and strongly encourage other alumni sets to follow in the footsteps of the ‘96 set. Giving back to OCHS not only strengthens our legacy but also ensures that future generations can thrive academically.

If you or your set would like to embark on a similar project, please feel free to reach out to any of the National Executives for guidance and collaboration. Every effort, no matter how small, contributes to a brighter future for our students and strengthens the OCHS community.

Together, We Make a Difference!

The OCHS alumni family has always stood for excellence, unity, and impact. As we celebrate this milestone, let us continue to embody the spirit of “Knowledge is Power” by finding ways to give back and uplift our beloved school.

💙 God bless us all richly!
